Jada Gilliland, Softball

During the month of March Jada had a batting average of .366 with 26 hits, 7 HRs and 25 RBI. She currently ranks 2^nd in Region 16 for homeruns with 8. 

On defense Jada has become a true utility player, playing centerfield, pitcher, and first base. Over our 22 games in March, she carried a .936 fielding percentage with just 3 errors and 2 double plays. On the mound she pitched a shutout win over Dawson, only giving up 4 hits, and a run rule win against MSU-West Plains where she struck out 10.
