Bio

Assistant Women's Soccer Coach Chelsea Ramirez is a former MCC women's soccer player, and has been coaching for MCC since 2015. Coach Ramirez received her BA degree in Education with a Mathematics emphasis from Avila University. Ramirez played soccer for MCC, Missouri Valley College and Avila University.

An All-Conference and All-District soccer player from Blue Springs High School, Ramirez was selected for the Olympic Development Missouri State Team from 2006-2009. She was a member of the NJCAA Region XVI Championship team in 2011, and was a First Team All-Region Selection. Chelsea was also an NAIA All-Conference selection while competing for Avila University. Coach Ramirez has coached competitive youth soccer for the Jackson County Football Club, and Alba Football Club.

When not coaching soccer, Chelsea is busy sharing the responsibility with her husband of being great parents to her two kids. She values the small town feel of Kansas City, and embraces the opportunity to continue to live and raise her family in this community.
