Bio

Coach Brad Childers has served as a coach for the MCC Women's Soccer program since 2007. He received his BA in Business from Bob Jones University, and MA in Pastoral Leadership from Mid-America Theological Seminary. His coaching certifications include USC Premier Diploma and USSF "C" license. Brad competed collegiately in soccer all four years while attending Bob Jones University.

Coach Childers was NJCAA Region XVI Women's Soccer Coach of the Year in 2011, and Co-Coach of the Region in 2018 and 2019. His teams were NJCAA Region XVI Women's Soccer Champions in 2011 and in 2018. Outside of his involvement with MCC teams, Childers serves as a Missouri Director of Coaching for Kansas City Athletics. His competitive club soccer teams have been the United States Youth Soccer (USYS) Missouri State Cup Champion seven times, three times as USYS Region Champions, with four USYS national appearances.

Brad is a lifelong Kansas City area resident. His outside activities are often spent as a "soccer dad." He and his wife have a family of seven children, many of whom play, or played, the sport at the collegiate level. Coach Childers enjoys the friendly atmosphere, quality of life and strong sense of community wihich is represented within the Kansas City metro area.
