The Wolves jumped out to an early lead thanks to singles by Alahna Wilson and Kaydence Enos, then a base hit from Daelyn Williams scored Wilson from second base.
The bats were quit after the first inning. Wilson and Enos were a force at the top of the line-up, each collecting two hits. Jada Gilliland and Williams each collected a hit as well.
Riley Collins took the loss for the Wolves, the right hander gave up six runs on five hits, walking two, over one and two-thirds innings.
Game 2
The bats were quiet until the fourth inning when the Wolves scored four runs to pull the game within one run. Kaydence Enos singled, Daelyn Williams singled, Jada Gilliland flew out to right which allowed a run to score, then Allison Shipp hit a double to right field, allowing Williams to score. Shania Cope hit a single that would score Shipp.
The Wolves regained the lead in the top of the fifth, thanks to an error that allowed Gretchen Freeman to reach base. Williams would single and Gilliland would score Freeman on a fielder's choice.
Freeman added some insurance runs in the top of the seventh after she homered, scoring her and Enos. But the Raiders would walk it off in the bottom of the seventh.
Josie Adams had a strong showing in the circle, going the full seven innings. She fanned 10 hits, gave up three walks, and only allowing one earned run.
